SUMMARY:Port Credit Pen Stocking Project
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for our annual Port Credit pen stocking project. The ministry has given us our date for the arrival of our baby salmon. They are scheduled to be delivered on Saturday April 11th at 10 am and they have increased our number of fish from 10\,000 to 15\,000. We are hoping to weigh and bag all of the feed that morning as well after they are delivered so the more volunteers the better. All are welcome to join us and experience the beginnings of the salmon journey.

DESCRIPTION:2024 Port Credit Salmon and Trout Association Pen Derby Rules and Information\nEvent Date: June 22\, 2024\nEntry Information:\n\nDerby Date is Saturday June 22 2024\n6 AM SHOTGUN START in front of credit river pier heads\n$250 ENTRY FEE which automatically includes a $50 raffle entry for each registered team\nPRIZE PAYOUT: 1st 35% | 2nd 15% | 3rd 10%\n$250 OPTIONAL CALCUTTA entry for the big shooters\nBIGGEST SALMON PRIZE: 2116 Scotty Downrigger\n50 BOAT LIMIT (Tickets sold on a first come first serve basis)\nRegister Online Registration form by click here or contact Bowen Sandercock (905 328 7335) to arrange an in person registration\nREGISTRATION DEADLINE Friday June 21 2024\nComplimentary Food will be provided for all competitors at weigh in (4 food tickets per team)\n\nRules:\nCheck in and shotgun start:\n\nBoats may check in at Snug Harbor marina at the main gate entrance OR Lakefront promenade public boat launch (there will be volunteers at both locations collecting signed waivers and completing cooler checks)\nAll team participants must sign the waiver in order to receive their cooler check\nOnce waiver has been received and cooler /fish storage has been checked\, the boat will receive their team number\n6 am shotgun start with all boats just outside of the pier heads\n\nWeigh In Rules:\n\nOnly Chinook and Coho Salmon are eligible\, with a minimum length of 24 inches\nOnly 3 fish may be entered (any boxes with more than 3 fish at the weigh in will be automatically disqualified)\n6 rod limit per boat\nAll boats must be inside of pier heads and off plane by 12pm\nA late penalty of 5 points per minute\nTournament scoring is 10 points per fish\, plus total weight in pounds\nWeigh in Begins around 1pm\n\nThis is a friendly Club event. We value the excellent community support we get\, and all of our staff are volunteers.
