2026 Port Credit Salmon and Trout Association Spring Pen Derby Rules and Information

Event Date: June 20, 2026

Entry Information:

• 6 AM SHOTGUN START in front of credit river pier heads
• $250 ENTRY FEE which automatically includes a $50 raffle entry for each registered team
• PRIZE PAYOUT: 1st 30% | 2nd 15% | 3rd 10%
• $250 OPTIONAL CALCUTTA entry for the big shooters
• BIGGEST SALMON PRIZE: 2116 Scotty Downrigger
• 50 BOAT LIMIT (Tickets sold on a first come first serve basis)

• REGISTRATION DEADLINE Friday June 19, 2026
• Complimentary Food will be provided for all competitors at weigh in (4 food tickets per team)

Rules – Check in and shotgun start:

• Boats may check in at Snug Harbor marina at the main gate entrance OR Lakefront promenade public boat launch (there will be volunteers at both locations collecting signed waivers and completing cooler checks)
• All team participants must sign the waiver in order to receive their cooler check
• Once waiver has been received and cooler /fish storage has been checked, the boat will receive their team number
• 6 am shotgun start with all boats just outside of the pier heads

Weigh In Rules:

• Only Chinook and Coho Salmon are eligible, with a minimum length of 24 inches
• Only 3 fish may be entered (any boxes with more than 3 fish at the weigh in will be automatically disqualified)
• 6 rod limit per boat
• All boats must be inside of pier heads and off plane by 12pm
• A late penalty of 5 points per minute
• Tournament scoring is 10 points per fish, plus total weight in pounds
• Weigh in Begins around 1pm

This is a friendly Club event. We value the excellent community support we get, and all of our staff are volunteers. Please respect others on the water, in the harbour, on the dock, and at the boat ramp.
